The Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is an independent federal agency that conducts audits, evaluations, and investigations to safeguard HUD’s programs from fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement. The HUD OIG Hotline is the primary means to submit allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement or whistleblower matters related to HUD and HUD-funded programs. HUD OIG accepts reports of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement to its Hotline from HUD employees, contractors, and the public.

Grievance Reporting and Anonymous Complaints
Grievance reports and anonymous complaints for the Assisted Housing Department must be submitted in writing. Please include as many details as possible for the Aurora Housing Authority to investigate your complaint.
