Current Participants who wish to Move
If you are a current AHA Housing Choice Voucher participant and wish to move, you must not be in the first term of your lease, must be in good standing with your landlord and AHA, and must not owe AHA or any other PHA money. You must also give AHA at least 60 days written notice prior to the effective date of your move. This will give us time to complete inspections and necessary paperwork. Approval of the move will be at AHA’s discretion. If this is an emergency relocation move, you must contact your housing specialist directly and immediately.
Download and complete the
AHA Move Request Form.
Submit this form to AHA either by mail, in person, or by fax. AHA will then contact you to tell you if you are eligible to move and if so, will process your move request.
